NCSO needs help locating missing teen

UPDATE: The missing 14 year old girl has been located. She is safe and in good health.

NEWBERRY COUNTY — The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile.

Katelyn Rose Davis, 14, left her home located on U.S. 76 between Newberry and Jalapa sometime between 11 p.m. Tuesday night and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. It is believed at this time she left the home voluntarily.

She is described as a white female. She is five foot tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be wearing blue jean shorts, black and pink black long sleeve shirt and black sandals.

Law enforcement has been working with the family checking with friends and family members and is now asking the public’s assistance in locating Davis.
