May Cruise In held

NEWBERRY — The Midlands S.C. Muscle and Classic Car Group held their May Cruise In on Saturday, May 26 at Stokes Trainor.

“What was forecasted to be 50 percent to 70 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, turned into a beautiful day at Stokes Trainor dealership. Special thanks goes to Joe Trainor, for allowing our group to use his dealership as a venue. Also, I would like to thank Brian Green, owner of Pig Kickin Bar-B-Que, for coming to the Cruise-In with the ‘Pig Truck.’ I believe everyone who tried Brian’s barbecue went away with a smile on their face,” said Zeb Reid, president of Midlands S.C. Muscle and Classic Car Group.

There was a total of 51 vehicles at Saturday’s Cruise In. The vehicles consisted of classic cars, muscle cars, classic trucks and motorcycles.

The June, 2018 Cruise In will be held at Sonic Restaurant in Newberry, June 23 and June 24 from 6-8 p.m.
