NEWBERRY — The Newberry Police Department is looking for the suspect involved in a strong armed robbery at Burger King, 3202 Main Street, on Wednesday, May 2.

At approximately 9:21 p.m., police were dispatched to Burger King in reference to a subject who had forcibly taken money from the cash register till. The suspect was captured on video during the incident and investigators are attempting to identify him.

The subject is described as a black male, approximately six-foot-tall, who was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie, a red shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball cap with red colored swirls and a sticker on the bill.
