Students visit Newberry Arts Center

The students visited the arts center prior to visiting the Newberry Opera House.

Marquerite Palmer, arts and special programs coordinator for the City of Newberry, performs a demonstration for Batesburg-Leesville Middle School students at the Newberry Arts Center.

While at the Newberry Arts Center, students from Batesburg-Leesville Middle School had the opportunity to try their hand at several different art mediums.

The Newberry Arts Center hosted 50 students from Batesburg-Leesville Middle School on Feb. 2 for a morning of art.
