NEWBERRY — Midlands SC Muscle and Classic Car Group held their August Cruise In at Stokes Trainor on Aug. 26 with 62 total classic cars, muscle cars and trucks, 200 spectators and guests and 42 members attending.

“Midlands SC Muscle and Classic Car Group August Cruise In was a great success. Thank you Joe Trainor and staff for allowing our group to use your dealership for our cruise in,” said Zeb Reid, president of the club.

The next Midlands SC Muscle and Classic Car Cruise In will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 30 at Sonic Restaurant in Newberry.

Reid also gave special thanks to Shane Stafford of Audio Advantage for donating stereo items for raffle prizes and Kickin’ Pig Bar-B-Que for coming to the Cruise In. He also thanked Mayor Foster Senn for attending.
