NEWBERRY — The Newberry Community Players will hold auditions at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Ritz Theater for The Foursome, a comedy by Norm Foster.
The Foursome is being directed by Chris Wells and requires a cast of four men in their mid to late 40s.
The Foursome is a comedy that takes place on a golf course during a school reunion weekend. The story follows these “best” friends around the course as they become reacquainted and catch up with each others’ lives, telling stories from their school days as well as stories from their years apart.
“I love these four,” said Wells. “They are such guys. Norm Foster really understands how men talk and shoot the breeze. And setting the whole play on the golf course was genius. I can’t wait to begin rehearsals,”
