Kids were able to explore inside police cars, ambulances and fire trucks.
The Department of Natural Resources was also in attendance to provide information on gun, boat and life jacket safety.
Kids lined up to play on the bouncy houses.
Newberry Electric Cooperative provided electrical safety information along with a bucket truck on site.
The event was hosted by Newberry Electric Cooperative at the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office.
Sonic of Newberry provided free hotdogs. Srvpro of Newberry handed out free popcorn and Smith Cleaning offered free popsicles.
The community was able to see first-hand what a fire truck looked like up close.

Dr. Verch of Carolina West Clinic of Chiropractic was on hand to provide book bag placement to reduce back issues and stress testing.
Newberry Police Department handed out coloring books and other goodies to the community.
