Mid-State Quail & Dove fundraiser is today

The Outdoor Dream Foundation, a group that works with children with handicaps and cancer, held a quail hunt and trap shoot Feb. 25 at the Triangle Gun Club, along with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. About 100 quail were released and 35 to 45 youths learned to shoot, and shot quail for the first time.
