The Junior Leadership Newberry County class met for the final time on May 3. The group toured the City of Newberry’s water treatment plant and received instruction on social and improvisation skills from Mandy Butler, assistant professor of Theatre, at Newberry College.

Eighty participants were treated to locally produced meats, vegetables, bread and dessert prepared by local chefs. We thank Dave and Debbie Waldrop for the use of their farm as the perfect setting for this event.
