NEWBERRY — Funeral services for Ms. Valencia Lashanda Williams, 29, will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Williams passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Benjamin F. Williams and Debra Amelia Nelson. She was a graduate of Newberry High School.

Surviving are daughter, Taiydaum Thompson and her father, Levender Thompson; father, Benjamin F. Williams (Rubie); mother, Debra A. Nelson; sisters, Shauntaria McClurkin and Yolanda Fant of Lexington Park, Md.; Carletta Pearson of Elgin; Gresha Thurmond of Jacksonville, Ala.; grandparents, John Boyd and Mattie Boyd; special friends, Jacinda White and Ashley Young; six aunts, eight uncles, other relatives and friends.
