NEWBERRY — Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Baker Jr., 61, will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Baker passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at his home. Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Leroy Baker Sr. and the late Marjorie S. Baker. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and an employee of ISE.

Surviving are his wife, Mable Denise Wheeler; daughter, Camelita L. Singleton Counts (Dennis); Marcus A. Singleton, all of Jenkinsville; Tyrone B. Baker (Gina); Joseph D. Wheeler-Baker; Brandon Wheeler-Bowers; Markell D. Bowers; one sister, Mary E. Hall; two brothers Ricky Baker and Bogie Baker all of Newberry; five grandchildren, three sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
