CAMDEN — Graveside services will be held for John B. Fellers Jr., 88, of Camden, at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. The family will receive friends following The Rosary. Father Francis Travis will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mr. Fellers’ memory to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1709 Lyttleton St., Camden, SC 29020 or the charity of one’s choice.

John B. Fellers Jr., widow of Betty Clear Fellers, was born in Newberry the son of the late John B. Fellers and Ida Welch Fellers. He was a U.S. Army 1st Lt. in WWII and served in the Pacific Theater. John opened Fellers Furniture in Camden in 1948. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Mr. Fellers is survived by his five daughters, Bobbie Watkins, of Lugoff, Joyce Joyner (Philip) of Camden, Judy Faulkenberry (Randy) of Camden, Betty Roberts, of Lugoff, and Dr. Tullie Holmstrom, of Camden; one son, John B. Fellers III (Beverly) of Camden; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Crooks of Morristown, Tenn.; and brother, Richard Earl Fellers, of Newberry.

Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Fellers was predeceased by his brother, Levi Fellers; his grandson, Tyler Holmstrom; and sons-in-law, Lin Watkins, John Schnier, and Bill Roberts.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
