ORANGEBURG — Steve Larry Lovelace, Rowesville, died Friday afternoon at the Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Orangeburg Lutheran Church with Pastor Garry White officiating. Family received friends on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home.

Mr. Lovelace was born in Prosperity and was a son of the late Drury Oscar Lovelace and Annie Frazier Lovelace. He was owner of the Ivy Porch. Mr. Lovelace was a member of Orangeburg Lutheran Church, a former choir director and a loyal member of the choir.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Lovelace of Cordova; two sons, Stephen F. Lovelace of Orangeburg and George Theodore “Ted” Lovelace and wife Joanna of Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Fred Lovelace of Columbia; a sister Drucy Siokes of Columbia; grandchildren, Katie Garrick, Timothy Garrick, Joseph Garrick, Benjamin Garrick, Emma Marie Mullins and Austin Gayle Dobbs; a great-grandson Harley Edward Peryer IV.
