Mr. Russell Caughman of Batesburg and Mrs. Hope Caughman-Owens of Columbia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Maria Caughman, to Britton William Havird, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Havird Jr. of Prosperity.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William “Whitt” Plowden of Leesville and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Caughman of Batesburg. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Education from Clemson University in 2012 and is currently attending Piedmont Technical College. She is currently employed with Clayton Rawl Farms.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hawkins of Prosperity and Mrs. Dorothy Havird and the late Mr. Edwin Havird of Newberry. He received his Associates degree in Industrial Technology with a major in Machine Tool Technology from Piedmont Technical College in 2006 and is currently employed with Red Line Precision Machining in Prosperity.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Little Mountain. They will reside in Prosperity.
