COLUMBIA — Due to poor weather in Columbia, the Newberry men’s and women’s tennis team’s doubleheader against Benedict and SCAD-Savannah were canceled.
The Wolves were set to play Benedict College on Saturday morning, before playing SCAD-Savannah in a neutral-site match in the afternoon.
An official makeup date for either match has not been set.
Newberry continues to open the conference and home season on Monday with a 2 p.m. match at the Cannon Tennis Courts against the Anderson Trojans.
