Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Kinard of Prosperity are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allyson Marie Kinard to Eric Scott Buchanan. Allyson’s maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Bedenbaugh of Prosperity. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Kinard of Pomaria.
Eric is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Buchanan of Greenwood. His maternal grandparents are Mrs. Joan Kiernan of Atlanta, Ga. and the late Mr. Patrick Kiernan. His paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Buchanan of Laurens.
Both Allyson and Eric are graduates of Clemson University. Allyson has B.A. in sociology and is employed by Founders Federal Credit Union in Spartanburg. Eric has a B.A. in industrial engineering and is employed by Parker-Hannifin Tech Seal in Spartanburg.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 5 p.m. at St Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Pomaria.
The reception is to follow at the Boland House located at 5398 S.C. Highway 34, Pomaria.
