Students hit bulls-eye with archery team

POMARIA — Pomaria-Garmany Elementary will hold its qualifying archery tournament for the state from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The practice tournament was held this past weekend.

The top shooters qualified to continue to the next round in the qualifying tournament.

A S.C. Department of Natural Resources representative will be present for the qualifying tournament.

These archers’ scores will be sent to Columbia to see who qualifies for the State Tournament.

The archery team at Pomaria-Garmany Elementary has been practicing shooting at 10 meters and 15 meters.

This year’s State shoot will be March 21 in Columbia.
