Newberry High School’s Emily Huggins was recognized on Friday as the Rotary Teacher of the Month at the Rotary Club of Newberry’s meeting. Huggins teaches English to freshmen and was also the Teacher of the Year for Newberry High. She also recently became nationally board certified and is a Junior Beta Club sponsor.
