POMARIA — Rachel Bedenbaugh Stuck, 80, of Pomaria, widow of James Robert Stuck, died Jan. 27, 2013.

Born March 13, 1932, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Simeon and Gertrude Chapman Bedenbaugh.

Mrs. Stuck was a homemaker and loved the outdoors. She was a member of Aveleigh Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Neil Truesdell Sunday School class. She was loved dearly and will be missed daily.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Stuck and Judy Stuck both of Lexington and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Clara Nell Shealy; and by brothers, Roy Bedenbaugh, Carroll Bedenbaugh, and Hugh Bedenbaugh.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Aveleigh Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. Mitchell VanMetre. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 6:30 p.m. at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
