The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.

S.C. Highway Patrol

Ernest Eugene Turner, 38, was charged with driving under the influence.

Jamaal Ramone Brown, 29, was charged with driving under the influence.

Jasmine Bautista, 21, was charged with giving false information to law enforcement.

Rocardo Baez Hernandez, 31, was charged with driving without a license and driving vehicle at greater speed than is reasonable under conditions.

Newberry Police

Michael Rashad Smith, 26, was charged with trespassing.

Renee Senita Hill, 45, was charged with failure to return driver’s license after notice of suspension, cancellation or revocation, failing to use headlight when required and driving under suspension.

Harley Shane Bundrick, 21, was charged with malicious injury to real property and drinking alcoholic liquors in public.

Percy Wardell Cunningham, 24, was charged with possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

Diquan Anton Callahan, 18, was charged with possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

Dwight Norman Rodgers, 24, was charged with failure to return driver’s license after notice of suspension, cancellation or revocation, stopping, standing, parking, blocking outside of business or residence, failure to maintain proof of insurance in motor vehicle, driving under suspension, possession or use of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute drugs.

Newberry County Sheriff’s Office

Raheem Abdul Reid, 36, was charged with fraudulent check and possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

Samantha Ann Assini, 20, was charged with malicious injury to personal property.
