NEWBERRY COUNTY —The Interfaith Community Services of Newberry County thank all individuals and groups for donating to the Emergency Relief Fund which benefits the community.

The ICS is a cooperative group of lay people and clergy that provides service oriented ministries to those who experience a variety of needs. The money donated to the ICS Emergency Relief Fund is used to help people in the community mainly with utility bills and medical costs. The only administrative cost is to pay for the checks and all of the work is done by volunteers.

The following churches, organizations, businesses and individuals have donated generously during the last quarter of 2012: Glenn Street Baptist Church, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Miriam Group of St. James Lutheran Church WELCA, Mary Braswell, Carolyn L. If you would like to donate to the Emergency Relief Fund, please mail your contribution to ICS Emergency Relief Fund, Fran Hatch, treasurer, 1250 Jones St., Newberry, S.C. 29108 or take it to the Department of Social Services Newberry office of Sarah Smith on Wilson Road.
