Students of the Whitmire Caring for Students club helped Dr. Kim Neal, a math teacher at Whitmire Community School, organize 25 bags of food to be distributed to families in the Whimire community. The food was collected by Neal’s sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Iota chapter. Neal stated, “It is our hope that this small gesture will help ease a little bit of the burden over the holidays for some Whitmire families.” From left to right are students, Ashley Tucker, Takiera Sanders and Monica Chick.
