NEWBERRY — A Vintage Christmas will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the downtown area.
A host of local entertainment will be performing.
At 6:30 p.m. Santa will make his way along Main Street and talk with children at Memorial Park starting at 6:45 p.m. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera and also Rodney Hunter will give all children a 5 by 7 photo of themselves with Santa.
The event will have the entertainments moving between Books on Main, Astwood Park, Community Hall and Memorial Park.
The showing of the Christmas movie Polar Express will be at the Ritz Theater at 7:30 p.m.
Main Street will be closed between Lindsay and Nance for the event.
