The Newberry Academy marching band marched in the Newberry Christmas Parade on Dec. 1 and the Prosperity Christmas Parade on Dec. 2. Bette Mosely is the band director for the school. The band showed off Academy spirit that first weekend in December and also helped bring in the school spirit. Along with the band, cheerleaders also marched in the parade and handed out candy to the children.
