PROSPERITY — Funeral services for Mr. Bennie “Slim” Wise, 57, will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Lever Chapel A.M.E. Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wise passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Fairfield Healthcare in Ridgeway. Born in Prosperity, he was the son of Nannie Lee Wise. Mr. Wise was a member of Lever Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Mr. Wise was predeceased by a brother, Brady Wise.

Surviving are his mother, Nannie Lee Wise; daughters, Erika Tiffany Wise and Christy Michelle Wise all of Prosperity; adopted sister, Catherine Blair of Newberry; one uncle, Thomas Wise of Prosperity; a host of cousins and other relatives.
