Colony Lutheran Church celebrated Women Sunday on Nov. 18 with a joy offering service given to the ELCA Good Gifts program. Nancy Fulmer is a board member of the S.C. Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and was the guest homilist.
Colony Lutheran Church honored six women with S.C. WELCA honorary life memberships. In the front row are Kathryn Shealy, Bettye H. Fulmer, Carla Trainor, Sabrina Manning and Mary Jane Zwart. Jennifer D. Nichols was not available. In the back row are the new 2013 unit officers, leader Patsy Nichols, treasurer Neal Fulmer, leader Judy Rachal, mission action Lola Lowe, mission growth Patsy Long and secretary Barbara Wise. Not pictured was Carolyn Dowd with mission community.
