CLINTON — Mid-Carolina graduate Mac Lake is aiming for basketball success at Presbyterian College.
The sophomore played his most recent game for the Blue Hose against Toccoa Falls College on Tuesday with 27 minutes of play.
Lake plays guard/forward for the PC team and helped contribute to their win over Toccoa Falls, 97-38.
Lake scored four points for the Blue Hose and also had eight rebounds and six assists.
Presbyterian College is a Division I school and the basketball team shot the school a record 64.6 percent from the field. They converted a record 42 baskets, leading to the win.
In last year’s season, Lake played 12 minutes against Montreat with a rebound and an assist in the game.
Lake’s former coach is Zeb Reid, athletic director for Mid-Carolina Middle where he averaged 14 points, six rebounds and four assists as a senior. He was also an All-County recognized player three years and has earned the Region Sportsmanship award.
