The Neberry All-County Team was named on Monday at the Newberry County Touchdown Club’s annual banquet. The team members are, front row left to right, Alex Ellison, Nick Sims-Metts, Jay White, Ty Glymph, Sam Miller, Talon Trotter; second row, Tovaris Cureton, Tyon Williams, Trahjare Reeder, Eric Gallman, Josh Parker and Jared Wicker.
Newberry High Player Eric Gallman was named as the county’s player of the year at the high school level.
The Newberry players of the year are Tovaris Cureton, Tyon Williams, Trahjare Reeder and Eric Gallman .
The Mid-Carolina All-County players are Josh Parker, Jay White, Ty Glymph and Nick Sims-Metts.
The All-County team players from Whitmire are Alex Ellison, Jared Wicker, Talon Trotter and Sam Miller.
Apollo Stretch was named at the Newberry College football player of the year by the Newberry County Touchdown Club.
The Newberry County Touchdown Club’s Newberry College players of the year are Jamal Bethune, Jason Livingston and Taylor McDonnell.
The Newberry County High School All-Academic Team is Alex Attaway, Will Boozer, Cannon Griffith, Perry Able, Rondera Lindler and Malik Whitner.
