Holiday lights sparkle downtown

A host of people came out Friday to watch as the downtown lights were turned on for the Christmas season. This year the community also welcomed in new decorations for the town square.

A committee appointed by Newberry Mayor Foster Senn over saw the new Christmas look for the square. White lights and garland are streamed around Community Hall and trees full of color stand on the square.
