PROSPERITY — The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an elderly gentleman who was last seen Monday afternoon entering the woods on Wheeler Avenue in Prosperity.
The man, Christopher Godbee, was wearing a blue jean jacket, a blue flannel shirt, jean, and white tennis shoes. He is six-foot-two-inches tall, weighs 230 pounds, and wears gold rim glasses. He goes by the name Chris.
The man was a patient at South Side residential care. He suffers numerous medical conditions.
As of Tuesday morning the search was ongoing.
