Tom Pope shucks an oyster during the Opera House Guilds annual event on Sunday
A pot of steaming oysters are poured out for the crowd at Sunday’s Newberry Opera House Guild event at Dave Waldrop’s pond. The event is estimated to have raised over $10,000 and the money will be donated for Opera House expenses.
