PROSPERITY — The Mid-Carolina girls and boys Cross Country teams will both be running in the State Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
The meet will be held at the Sandhills Research Center in Columbia.
The girls 2A race is at noon and the boys 2A race will be at 12:30 p.m.
The MC girls team consists of Kate Sidener, Tiffany Cotney, Melizza Pascual, Madison Cates, Taylor Martin and Jada Lawrence.
The boys team placed 10th at the Upper State qualifying meet and advanced to the state meet.
Running for the boys team will be Carlos Hernandez, Matt Lewis, Jefferery Thomas, Noe Hernadez, Cristain Berriquin, Justin Bedenbaugh and Stephen Rumfelt.
