NEWBERRY — Shandon Ledale Long, 36, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Palmetto Health Baptist.

Born on Feb. 21, 1976, in Newberry, she was a daughter of Glenn E. and Ledale Roberts Long. She was an employee of Ellett Brothers and a member of Colony Lutheran Church.

Ms. Long is survived by her parents, Glenn and Ledale Long of Newberry; children, Price Jackson Long and Raine Ledale Long both of the home; a sister, Tiffany L. (Wade) Dawkins of Prosperity; a brother, Corey Glenn Long of Newberry; maternal grandmother, Betty J. Roberts of Newberry; paternal grandmother, Frances S. Long of Newberry; nieces and nephews, Lane Moore, Jordan Moore, Dantzler Long, Daylen Long and Preston Dawkins. She was predeceased by a her maternal grandfather, Rev. Robert J. Roberts and her paternal grandfather, Furman Long.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Colony Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jerry Trantham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6–8 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
