Minor injuries in Wise Street shooting

One person received minor injuries in a Saturday night shooting on Wise Street.

Newberry Police Chief Jackie Swindler says one person was shot in the leg in the shooting.

The person received minor injuries.

Swindler says the victim and witnesses in the shooting have not cooperated with officers in the case.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Newberry Police at 321-1010.
