Ms. Jenny Livingston of Irmo and Mr. Thomas Livingston of Ridge Spring are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Livingston to Stewart Brett Newton of Newberry.

Brett is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Craig Newton.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Irmo High School, and a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science and motor development. She is currently enrolled at the Medical University of South Carolina in the occupational therapy masters program.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Newberry High School, and a 2006 graduate of Anderson University with a bachelor of science degree in physical education. He is currently employed with the School District of Newberry County as a teacher and coach at Whitmire Community School.

A 2:30 p.m. wedding is planned for Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at Central United Methodist Church in Newberry.
