Mr. and Mrs. Benny E. Hallman of Chapin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Deena Marie Hallman, to Hannon William Bedenbaugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bedenbaugh, of Newberry.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Lake of Prosperity and Mrs. Margaret Hallman and the late Norris Hallman of Chapin.

A 2003 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in animal and veterinary science, she is employed as a practice manager at Millcreek Animal Hospital in Lexington.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Lois Kibler and the late Paul Kibler of Newberry, and Mrs. Elise Bedenbaugh Martin and the late Woodrow Bedenbaugh of Prosperity.

A 2001 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in construction science management, he is employed with SYS Constructors of Greenville.

The wedding is planned for April 24, 2010 at 5 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Chapin.
