Tuesday, polls will be open for the 123 voters in the Town of Silverstreet for a special election for two town council members.
The voters will get to choose two people from the list of four candidates.
Those on the ballot are Johnny Wix, Gerald Dominick, Ronnie Bowers and Michael Bouknight.
The special election comes after former Mayor Janice Havird resigned from her post, quickly followed by Council Member Vera Nell Dale resigning.
Former Council Member Travis Gilliam was the only person to run for the mayor’s position. That left Gilliam’s seat on council up for grabs, and two council seats empty total.
Registered voters living in the Town of Silverstreet can head to the polls between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Voters must take their voter registration cards or a state-issued identification card to the polls to vote.
