Whitmire vs. Blacksburg basketball games have been postponed from Friday and will play Thursday at 6 p.m.

Newberry College vs. Brevard baskeball games have been postponed until Monday at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Newberry College wrestling team’s weekend trip to Erie, Pa., was canceled after concerns about inclement weather. The scarlet and gray were scheduled to take on Mercyhurst and No. 5 Gannon on Saturday.

Weather forecasts predict snow in Erie on Friday and Saturday. Newberry was slated to face Mercyhurst at 11 a.m. and Gannon at 1 p.m.

Newberry will travel to UNC Pembroke next for a dual against the Braves on Tuesday. The dual is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
