Kendra Leah Mitchell of Anderson wed John Walter Pugh of Prosperity on Jan. 16, 2010 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Prosperity. The 4 p.m. ceremony was performed by Pastor Jason A. Schafer.

The bride is the daughter of John Frank and Gail McMahan Mitchell of Anderson. She is the granddaughter of Sara R. Reynolds of Mauldin. The groom is the son of John Vernon and Rebecca Baker Pugh of Prosperity. He is the grandson of the late W. Vernon and Elberta W. Pugh and the late Rev. Walter F. and Worthe R. Baker.

The bride graduated from Anderson University with a bachelor of science in biology and Lexington Medical Center’s School of Medical Technology. She is employed by Lexington Medical Center as a medical technologist.

The groom graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of science in biological sciences and also from the University of South Carolina, School of Pharmacy where he received a doctor of pharmacy. He is a pharmacist at Prosperity Drug Company.

After the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Prosperity.
