The jury said, “Not guilty” in September to Daniel Harris’ 2007 deadly shooting of his wife, Sharon Harris, clearing Daniel Harris of the two charges against him—murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The estranged couple had a history of violence littered with a restraining order, physical abuse, arrests and divorce, but the weekend before the Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 killing, the two were in church together.

But when Sharon found out during a visit to Daniel’s home that he had a Guardian ad Litem appointment for custody of the couple’s three children, “all hell broke loose,” Daniel said in court.

The jury found Harris not guilty of the murder charge.
