The new zoning will establish a CM or “Campus Main” zoning district and future uses it may incorporate, such as a food court.
Also on the slate for discussion is a “Campus Transition Overlay” district that will outline the college’s boundaries and future possible expansion.
The overlay portion of the new zone is in addition to the current residential underlying zoning, both permitting and allowing new land uses.
The public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow at City Hall, at 1300 College St.
After the public hearing first reading will be taken on the ordinance changes.
