SUNSHINE IN THE RAIN

Due to the rain on Sunday, May 23, we, Eugene Wilson American Legion Auxiliary #219, were not able to have the memorial service as we had planned.

But we have to understand that God gives us so many great days of sunshine and blessings. Sometimes we forget about his blessings so he has to bring rain and sadness to us to make us know he is still our God.

We were not able to give out our gift bags of food at the park. I was told there were about 50 people who came in the rain, but someone was there with one of the letters I sent out, so they called me on the phone and came by my house to pick up their bag.

I called 30 people Sunday afternoon that I sent letters to. A lot of them came to my house and got their gift bags. The others came by Monday and Tuesday.

Thank God, I was able to give out 30 bags. I wold like to thank the members for their support.

I want to thank all the people who supported me to be able to help feed these 30 people and their families.

God bless each of you.

Thank you all,

Georgia Suber, president
