Mr. and Mrs. Derrill Rawls Graham of Pomaria are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Marie Cumalander of Pomaria, to Jonathan Ray Paul of Prosperity.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Ray Paul of Prosperity.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Cumalander Jr. of Little Mountain.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Earl DeHart of Pomaria, the late Mr. John E. Cumalander and Mrs. Kay Richardson of Little Mountain, and Mrs. Ruby Mae Graham of Pomaria. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from Columbia College in 2008. She is employed as the manager of Urban Nirvana in Lexington.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bonnie Berley of Little Mountain, the late Mr. Ronald G. Paul of Prosperity, and the late Mrs. Irene H. Moran of Prosperity.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of South Carolina- Aiken in 2007. He is employed as a sales representative for Clear Vision Auto Glass in Little Mountain.

The wedding is planned for June 20, 2009 at Four 0’ Three North Lake inLexington. The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m.
