CRIME SCENE - Sheriff's deputies and SLED agents enter the crime scene on Langford Street.
Harris was pronounced dead this morning at his home after law enforcement and rescue personnel responded after a 911 call at 6:17 this morning stating that a person had been shot.
Sheriff Lee Foster said the victim had a single gunshot wound to the head.
Harris's roommate came home from work and was in the home when he heard a pop. The roommate found Harris lying on the couch unresponsive, said Foster.
A team of investigators is currently working at the crime scene, including the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division’s crime scene and bloodhound teams. Another team of investigators is taking statements at the Sheriff’s Office.
