Dear Editor,

As a concerned citizens of Newberry County, I feel I must voice my opinion on the way traffic violations are handled.

On March 5, I encountered a road rage driver who could have caused harm to three different cars. I tried to report this to *HP but could not get through. When I got to work approximately 25 minutes later, I contacted Newberry County Sheriff’s Office. I told a description of what happened and gave the tag number of the vehicle involved. The whole incident took less than three minutes.

The sheriff’s department told me if it happens again to call 911 while it is happening. So they can make a traffic stop. This is the help I got. It is time to get these drivers off the road before they harm more innocent people.
