Whitmire honors town employees for service

Several employees of the Town of Whitmire were recognized by Mayor Billy Hollingsworth and council members for their dedication and service. Each employee was presented with a certificate of appreciation. Shown are, from the left, Claude Worthy, more than 20 years with street maintenance; Jimmy D. Brock, eight years with Water Treatment Plant; Police Chief Jeremiah Sinclair, 10 years; Officer Micheal Moss, more than five years with the Whitmire Police Department; and Beth Broome, 10 years as Public Works Clerk and former recreation director.

At the March 11 town council meeting, Mayor Billy Hollingsworth congratulated Synthia Sinclair for more than 20 years service to the Whitmire Water Treatment Plant.
