UTICA, N.Y. — Funeral servicse for Mr. Joseph “Joe” Allen Wilson Sr., age 28, will be conducted on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Bush River Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Wilson died Monday, March 23, 2009. Born in Newberry, he was the son of David Lee Wilson Sr. and Rosalyn Clark Wilson.

Surviving are his parents, David Lee Wilson Sr. and Rosalyn Clark Wilson of Newberry; two children, Shameia Workman of Joanna and Joseph Allen Wilson Jr. of Utica, N.Y.; one sister, Tomia Dawkins of Whitmire; two brothers, David Lee Wilson Jr. (Lakeisha) and Miles Mackenzie Wilson, all of Newberry; grandfather, Harold Clark of Newberry; four aunts; six uncles; one niece; two nephews; a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

The family will receive friends at 504 Drayton St., Newberry.
