The following people were booked into the Newberry County Detention Center. All are innocent until proven guilty.

Charles Johnson Byrd, 54, drinking alcoholic liquors in public.

Christopher Blake Shirey, 21, failure to return driver’s license after notice of suspension, cancellation or revocation, driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.

Vincent Michael Mossholder, 28, two counts of a violation of city ordinance.

Garry Steven Baumgardner, 57, two counts of a violation of city ordinance.

Theodore Fred Tribble, 46, drinking alcoholic liquors in public.

Newberry County Sheriff’s Office

Tequilla Shanta Bowser, 35, speeding, driving under suspension, giving false information to law enforcement, failure to maintain proof of insurance in motor vehicle drugs and theft of a controlled substance.

Martez Devon Gallman, 21, third degree assault and battery.

Cecil Jerome Quinn, 40, two magistrate’s court bench warrants.

Billy Ray Knight, 33, resisting arrest, pedestrian under influence of alcohol or drugs and public disorderly conduct.
