Rebels get a win and a loss

BATESBURG-LEESVILLE — After a big win on Thursday night over Richard Winn Academy, Mid-Carolina lost to Batesburg-Leesville on Friday.

The Rebels are now 8-13 overall and 2-6 in the region.

On Friday the Mid-Carolinb boys took a 62-70 loss at Batesburg-Leesville.

Zach Parker led the Rebels with 20 points in the game and was followed by Cornelius Glasgow with 15 points.

Danton Hyman made 10 points for the Rebels and Brent Caldwell had eight points.

Tevarres Taylor had five point and Javarius Nelson rounded out the scoring with four.

Mid-Carolina went head to head with Richard Winn Academy on Thursday night. The Rebels took an easy 75-34 win as most of the team scored in the contest.

Dante Boyd was the top scorer with 11 points and Parker followed with 10. Chris Boyd got eight points and Marcus Chapman and Hunter Berry each had seven. Mackenzie Flemon had six points.

Tevarres Taylor, Marcus McMorris and Glasgow all had five points. Hyman scored four points and Ryan Stoudemire came out with three points. Both Nelson and Caldwell had two points.
