NEWBERRY — The Newberry County Water and Sewer Authority has recognized two employees for service.
Tracy Jones and Johnnie Wix were both recently honored for working for the water and sewer system for the past 10 years.
Jones, a native of Silverstreet, takes pride in providing outstanding customer service to those served by NCWSA, according to a release announcing the honors.
“Her duties include billing and payment processing as well as issuing work orders to field staff,” according to the release. “Tracy’s dedication to providing quality customer service makes her a valuable member of the NCWSA team.”
Wix is also a native of Silverstreet and started his career with NCWSA as a water distribution operator.
Currently, Wix works as a licensed water treatment operator at the Lake Murray Water Treatment Facility.
“His dedication to providing safe, reliable drinking water makes Johnnie a valuable member of the NCWSA team,” according to the press release.
